Dr. Ernest M. Parson is a native Texan who has been engaged in the practice of veterinary medicine for more than fifteen years in the South Texas area. He received his degree in Veterinary Medicine in 1994 from Texas A&M University and shortly after graduating, he began his career with the Animal Hospital of New Caney . Only 8 years out of school, Dr. Parson bought ownership of the Animal Hospital of Humble in 2000 and in 2005 he opened the doors to the new building for the Animal Hospital of Humble.

On a personal note, Dr. Parson and his wife, Jeannie, have three kids; Kaitlyn 12 years old, Kelly 20 years old and Steven 24 years old. His family also includes Sushi, a rescued Maltese, Billy the cat with feline companions KC and Oliver, whom he also rescued. When asked why he chose this profession, you will get the same answer each time: because he loves the animals. He grew up on a small farm in Brownsville, TX with cows, horses and a host of other critters. The time he spent on that farm shaped him in to becoming the dedicated Veterinarian in today’s world. His focus when it comes to patient care is just that, the patient.
