While every furry friend that comes into our clinic is unique, we want to take a moment to remember a very fun loving energetic English Bull Dog named Bentley. Bentley was born in January of 2008 and first came to see Dr. Parson in September of that year. With a personality like Bentley’s, he easily won the staff over with that first visit. As with many English Bull Dogs, Bentley became a regular ...visitor, with his own issues that needed medical attention. Seeing him on the schedule always brought a smile to your face when you thought about trying to restrain that rambunctious canine. Being that he was a very curious one and liked the taste of everything, Dr. Parson performed more than one exploratory surgery on him. Whether it was a doorstopper, a remote cover or a leather shoe, Bentley found a way to visit our staff. His owners loved him very much and did everything they could to make sure he had a happy and comfortable life. Recently Bentley became very ill, and while every option was explored, a very difficult decision was made and Bentley is now eating leather shoes to his hearts content, but in a higher place. We “paws” for a moment to remember Bentley and how much he was loved by all who knew him. Bentley, you are missed and loved always by your AHOH family.
